Duties

• Efficiently wash dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment to uphold high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, assembling ingredients, and portioning to support chefs and kitchen staff
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen by sweeping, mopping, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly
• Support catering and banquet setups by organizing supplies and ensuring timely delivery of prepared food items
• Buss tables during service hours to ensure a clean dining environment for guests
• Follow all food handling safety protocols and hygiene standards to ensure compliance with health regulations
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy service periods

Skills

• Strong understanding of food handling safety and sanitation practices
• Experience in food preparation, catering, or banquet environments is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restaurant or hotel kitchen operations and experience in hospitality settings
• Ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic cooking skills and familiarity with food service procedures
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to support serving staff during busy shifts
