Andrea Devins Opticians is an independent Optometry practice based in Letterkenny, Co. Donegal. The practice first opened its doors in November 2022 with a vision to deliver not just exceptional eyecare, but a truly memorable experience. We’re committed to precision and patient satisfaction, dedicating an extra 25 minutes compared to standard appointments to ensure a thorough evaluation.

What Will the Role Entail?
We are known for our eyewear, and high-level dispensing is the core of our business. This role is perfect for you if:

• You like to make personal connections with clients, whether that’s on the phone, in reception, or during a dispensing consultation.
• You get a buzz from being on the shop floor, seeing browsers, selling, and being involved in the day-to-day tasks that happen in a boutique business to create an exceptional customer experience.
• You’re a team player. You’ll get involved in setting the practice up each morning, greeting clients as they arrive, making drinks for clients, performing quality control, and checking in client eyewear. You’ll do whatever it takes to deliver an exceptional client experience.
• Attention to detail. Our clients demand the highest standards, and that’s why they choose us.
• You are confident and communicate clearly to reassure clients that they are in capable hands.
• You are interested in building strong and enjoyable relationships with clients and are able to give top-class service.

What Will I Need in Order to Be Considered for This Opportunity?

• Qualified Dispensing Optician.
• Current CORU or GOC registration.
• Proven experience as a Dispensing Optician in a retail setting.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude
• Helpful and approachable demeanour.
• Ability to multi-task and keep on top of lots of details.
• A positive outlook, tons of enthusiasm to learn, and a ‘can-do’ attitude are the most important qualities!
