Position Objective:
Drive Team Supervisor is responsible for the daily management of the Drive Team and will work with and support the direction of the Porsche PEC management team. This role will support the Chief Instructor of the PEC to deliver operational excellence and a successful customer experience that promotes the Porsche brand and its values. Finally, this role will promote a positive workplace environment and team morale.
The Porsche Experience Center (PEC) is a brand immersion destination for automobile enthusiasts. It offers the ability for guests of all ages to take in the heritage of the brand, experience the Porsche lifestyle and the thrill of the drive, allowing Porsche to build connections with people from all walks of life. Guests visit the PEC primarily to engage in driving experiences behind the wheel of a Porsche vehicle on a purpose-built driver development track.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Support the management of the PEC Drive team
- Ensure seamless daily operations between all PEC departments, involving drive programs. This would include delivery of bespoke events and unique offerings
- Directly responsible for the safety of drive operations at the PEC
- Support the PEC as acting Chief Instructor, while Chief Instructor is away
Prior to PEC Opening:
- Support the operations process for PEC Toronto
- Execute and train drive team procedures with the Chief Instructor
- Recruit & Hire team members
Once PEC is Open:
- Primary support to drive team operations on a daily basis to ensure successful operation and execution of drive programs.
- Creation of daily manifest to instruct operational teams on instructor & vehicle assignments
- Regularly conducts safety checks and verification of safety procedures
- Review and approve drive events relating to B2B or special requests
- Supervise key events at the PEC with cross-functional support
- Support and lead various facets of the new hire process and team member retention
- Monitor and deliver KPI’s, brand intent, and customer experience to ensure programs deliver against targets
- Responsible for sustaining a positive workplace culture that supports team engagement and Porsche passion
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing preferred, or equivalent
Experience (Job and Industry):
- 5+ years working experience of management driving program experience
- Experience in the automotive industry and/or a track environment is required
- Demonstrated experience building and leading teams and overall management capabilities
- Background and proficiency in delivering an exceptional guest/customer experience
- Demonstrated safety procedures execution, preferably creation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills, able to motivate both individuals and the overall team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Skills:

- Highly organized, target oriented mindset, works well without close supervision
- Ability to set and meet challenging deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Ability to operate both standard and automatic vehicles
- General computer experience (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, Database software)
- The ability to foster positive and productive work relationships
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as required by event schedules
- English required, French preferred, German a plus

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00-$95,000.00 per year
