Driving Instructor

Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and patient Driving Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching new drivers the skills necessary to operate vehicles safely and confidently. This role involves providing comprehensive driving lessons, ensuring students understand traffic laws, and fostering a positive learning environment. The Driving Instructor will play a vital role in helping students achieve their driving goals while maintaining high safety standards.

Duties

• Conduct in-person driving lessons for students of various skill levels, focusing on safe driving practices and traffic regulations.
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to each student’s learning pace and needs.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their driving skills.
• Demonstrate proper vehicle handling techniques, including parking, turning, lane changes, and highway driving.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, and assessments.
• Ensure all lessons adhere to state safety regulations and company policies.
• Foster a supportive and engaging classroom environment that encourages questions and active participation.
• Communicate effectively with students to build confidence and ensure understanding of driving concepts.

Experience

• Proven experience in driving, with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Prior teaching or classroom management experience is highly desirable.
• Experience working with students or in adult education settings is preferred.
• Strong communication skills to clearly convey instructions and feedback.
• Classroom experience or experience working with diverse learners is a plus.
