Dry Cleaning Plant Supervisor

Position Overview:

The Dry Cleaning Plant Supervisor leads daily operations at our plant, ensuring orders are processed efficiently and to our high-quality standards. This is a working supervisor role — you’ll help with spotting, pressing, finishing, and maintaining workflow while guiding and supporting the production team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead by Example: Work side-by-side with staff on cleaning, pressing, and finishing garments.
• Daily Production Oversight: Organize and manage workflow to ensure all orders are completed on time and meet quality standards.
• Quality Control: Inspect garments for stains, proper finishing, and overall presentation before they leave the plant.
• Train & Support Staff: Teach team members proper techniques and promote a positive, cooperative work environment
• Equipment Maintenance: Operate and maintain dry cleaning and laundry machines, perform basic troubleshooting, and report repairs as needed.
• Inventory & Supplies: Keep track of detergents, chemicals, and other supplies and reorder when needed.
• Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, following all chemical safety guidelines.
• Communication: Coordinate with the stores and delivery team to ensure smooth operations and satisfied customers.

Qualifications:
Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry production required

Strong knowledge of spotting, pressing, and finishing techniques

Ability to manage workflow and lead a small team effectively

Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented

Good communication and problem-solving skills

Willingness to take initiative and jump in where needed.

Schedule & Compensation: Part-time position 30-35 hours. typically Monday–Friday (occasional Saturday mornings) Competitive pay based on experience Employee discounts on all cleaning and laundry services
