Black & White Engineering’s recent acquisition of Homan O’Brien is part of our continued growth strategy. As a result of our continued growth, we are seeking Electrical Design Engineers to design systems and solutions for complex European and UK hyperscale data centre projects.

You will work on key projects with major players in the data centre sector, benefiting from established relationships. You will also be part of a supportive team of engineers in the UK, backed by our global engineering design centre, and will join us in pivotal roles that will help ensure the successful realisation of our strategic international goals.

Key accountabilities

• Compile specifications, drawings, and relevant contract documents as directed.
• Ensure technical quality of work, compliance with Codes, Standards, Regulations, and Procedures.
• Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary design team to achieve project objectives.
• Identify growth opportunities, maintain and develop client relationships.
• Provide electrical engineering design services for buildings and infrastructure, adapting to scope and schedule changes.

Skills & experience:

To be successful with your application, you’ll need to show that you meet the following criteria:

• Track Record: Experience working on a variety of Building Services Designs and delivering projects from concept to completion. Experience with data centre projects is not required; we provide thorough training.
• Technical Knowledge: Expertise in electrical design and a thorough understanding of Building Services Engineering and interdisciplinary design through all stages of the design process.
• Team Player: A collaborative individual who shares knowledge and is open to continuous professional and personal development.
