Electrical Lead Engineer

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science (or equivalent degree) in electrical engineering from an accredited university with minimum 15 years relevant experience in LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years in similar lead role in major LNG & oil/gas projects.
• Must have minimum 5 years electrical and lightning engineering working experience in Singapore.
• Must possess a valid COMPEX Certificate 1,2,3, 4 and 12.
• Fully familiar with international codes, standards and recommended practices to be applied for LNG & oil/gas projects during EPC phase of execution. (Specifically, must be fully familiar with Electrical 89A, SS638, SS555, SS650 and Singapore Standards)
• Fully familiar with MV/LV transformer, switchboard, motor, earthing etc. installation and commissioning.
• Must have experience to manage EPC deliverables and working experience with PE and LEW.
• Must have proven ability to contribute during development of electrical system studies and safety reviews
• Experience in LNG and oil & gas projects is mandatory.
• Local Singaporeans and PRs are desirable
• For foreign candidates: must currently hold valid passes in Singapore and have prior work experience in Singapore, along with relevant LNG and oil & gas project experience.

Location: Ubi/ Jurong Port

Salary: $7,000- $8,000 plus or minus (negotiable based on experience and qualifications)

This is a 2-year contract role.
