Job Summary:
The Electromechanical Assistant in Animal Healthcare Manufacturing is responsible for providing support to the engineering and maintenance teams in the installation, repair, and maintenance of electromechanical equipment within the manufacturing environment. This role ensures that all electromechanical systems, machinery, and equipment used in the production of animal healthcare products are functioning properly, meeting safety standards, and supporting operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the routine inspection, maintenance, and repair of electromechanical systems, equipment, and machinery used in animal healthcare product manufacturing.
- Support troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, pumps, conveyors, sensors, and PLC-controlled equipment.
- Monitor the operation of equipment to detect any malfunctions or inefficiencies, ensuring timely corrective action.
- Help with the installation, setup, and commissioning of new electromechanical systems and machinery in the production area.
- Assist with adjusting, calibrating, and optimizing equipment for maximum performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure proper installation and configuration of electromechanical systems according to company standards and specifications.
- Assist with the execution of preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment is serviced regularly and remains in optimal working condition.
- Clean and lubricate machinery, replace parts as needed, and perform tests to ensure operational efficiency and safety compliance.
- Maintain detailed logs of preventive maintenance activities and inspections.
- Provide support in diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues that may arise with manufacturing equipment.
- Work with the engineering team to resolve issues and perform repairs efficiently, minimizing downtime and production delays.
- Assist in root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions for recurring equipment failures.
- Follow all safety guidelines, operating procedures, and regulatory requirements (e.g., GMP, OSHA, environmental regulations) when performing maintenance tasks.
- Ensure that equipment meets safety standards and is in compliance with health and safety regulations to protect both personnel and product integrity.
- Report any unsafe working conditions or potential hazards to the supervisor immediately.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repairs performed.
- Help document technical manuals, equipment specifications, and troubleshooting guides.
- Report any recurring mechanical or electrical issues to supervisors or engineers for further investigation.
Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of electromechanical systems and their components (motors, pumps, valves, sensors, electrical circuits).
- Familiarity with manufacturing equipment commonly used in animal healthcare product production.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and control system schematics and blueprints.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance strategies and ability to perform basic repairs on mechanical and electrical systems.
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: Php17,500.00 - Php18,500.00 per month
