Job description

Position Overview: We are seeking a technically skilled Embedded Software Engineer with a strong focus on CI/CD automation and testing in the context of motion control systems. In this role, you will drive the development of embedded software for traction and motion control systems, ensuring fast, stable, and scalable delivery processes across development and testing stages.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop embedded software for traction and motion control systems in a collaborative, cross-functional, and international environment.
Integrate and enhance CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins) to ensure efficient delivery processes.
Translate high-level requirements into implementable software solutions and verification strategies.
Create and execute automated test suites for ECU systems, ensuring early validation through Software-in-the-Loop (SiL), Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL), and Continuous Testing pipelines.
Collaborate with OEM suppliers and partners to ensure alignment on development standards, quality targets, and integration deliverables.
Implement low-level software designs and contribute to testable, reliable, and maintainable code using tools such as MATLAB/Simulink, C, and C++.
Participate in agile teams, contributing to backlog grooming, story writing, and sprint planning.

Qualifications:
2–5 years of hands-on experience in embedded software development, ideally in the automotive sector or with Tier 1 OEM suppliers.
Proficiency in CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Docker) and automated test environments (e.g., HiL, CANoe, Vector tools, Python-based test frameworks).
Solid experience in end-to-end software validation, including test planning, scripting, execution, and integration testing for real-time embedded systems.
Working knowledge of ISO 26262 and ASPICE standards for functional safety and development maturity.
Strong programming skills in C/C++ and MATLAB/Simulink for model-based development.
Experience coordinating with OEM partners, engineering service providers, and cross-site global teams.

Who You Are:
Collaborative and curious, with a confident approach to driving cross-functional initiatives.
Passionate about technology and innovation, with a willingness to learn and take on more responsibility.
Able to work both independently and as part of a team, thriving in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer:
Opportunity to work on innovative motion control systems and CI/CD automation processes.
A collaborative and inclusive work environment.
Continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
The chance to make a significant impact on the future of motion control technology.

Amaris Consulting is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace. We are committed to promoting diversity within the workforce and creating an inclusive working environment.
