The VP Enterprise Architecture & Quality Assurance is responsible for shaping and governing the future technology landscape of the company. This role ensures that technology investments and decisions are strategically aligned to business objectives, scalable for growth, and efficient in operation. As a member of the IT leadership team, the VP of Enterprise Architecture & Quality Assurance will lead the development and execution of architectural principles, roadmaps, and governance models that guide how technology is selected, integrated, and evolved across the company. The role ensuring that business ambition and IT delivery are supported by a coherent, modern, and resilient technology architecture. This role is critical to reducing complexity, managing technical risk, enabling speed at scale, and maximizing the value of IT investments.

KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Enterprise Architecture: Establish an enterprise architecture practice in AutoStore. Develop and maintain the enterprise architecture strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Lead the design and implementation of scalable and sustainable architectural solutions.
- Project Portfolio Management: Oversee the lifecycle of projects, ensuring they meet strategic goals. Develop and manage a project portfolio across IT.
- Vendor Management: Establish and maintain vendor relationships, ensuring service quality and cost-effectiveness. Collaborate with procurement department to ensure standardized procurement process and optimized contracts across IT. Support CTO with development of sourcing strategy.
- Finance & Cost Management: Oversee the financial aspects of the IT function, establish needed structures and mechanisms for budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting in IT.
- Quality Performance & Metrics: Implement and monitor quality assurance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in IT processes and outcomes. Develop performance indicators and reporting systems to track progress across IT.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

- Technical expertise: In-depth knowledge of enterprise application platforms including ERP, cloud computing and immersion technologies. Ability to use strategic planning to translate business goals into technology solutions.
- Communication and collaboration: Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to collaborate with other executives, stakeholders and teams across the organization, and to influence people to achieve common goals.
- Project management: Strong project management skills, including experience with agile methodologies and change management.
- Analytical skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; proficiency in data analysis and performance metrics.
- Financial acumen: Understanding of financial principles and ability to manage budgets and optimize costs.
- Leadership and decision making: Readiness to lead, inspire and develop innovative teams. Ability to foster a culture of continuous improvement while demonstrating sound judgment and making timely, effective decisions.
- Customer focus: Prioritization of the needs of our business and its customers. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction and business value.
- Integrity and trust: High ethical standards and trustworthiness. Ability to act consistently with transparency and accountability.
