Entry-Level Sales Associate

Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Entry Level Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional customer service in a retail environment, particularly within a grocery store setting. As a key member of our sales team, you will engage with customers, assist with product selection, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers with their needs.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system for transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling and cashiering.
• Maintain a clean and organized sales floor through effective merchandising and stocking of products.
• Conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits to customers.
• Utilize upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases and improve overall sales performance.
• Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations and address customer inquiries.
• Uphold company policies regarding phone etiquette and customer interactions.

Experience

• Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; we welcome entry-level candidates.
• Familiarity with basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as communication skills can enhance customer interactions.
• Supervising experience is a plus, as it may lead to future leadership opportunities within the company.

Pay: $50,003.26 - $60,218.98 per year
