Metro Animal Emergency Clinic is located in beautiful Dartmouth; NS (known as the city of lakes) and we are looking for an ER veterinarian to join our amazing, diverse & growing team!

About Us:

Metro Animal Emergency Clinic was established in 1997 and is the only private veterinary hospital in Nova Scotia to exclusively offer emergency and critical veterinary care. Our member relationships with many veterinary hospitals in the Halifax Regional Municipality and surrounding area allow for experienced and immediate 24/7 emergency and critical veterinary care for pets. We currently serve more than 30 hospitals in Dartmouth, Halifax, and beyond.

About You:

  • Knowledge of emergency and critical care with a commitment to practicing the highest standard of medicine and upholding the veterinary code of ethics.
  • Demonstrates excellent time and task management.
  • Demonstrates professional and courteous presentation with staff and clients.
  • Superior interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to multi-task.
  • Positive, enthusiastic team approach.
  • Licensed to practice veterinary medicine in the province of Nova Scotia
