We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Estimator to join our construction team. In this vital role, you will lead the cost estimation process for various projects, ensuring accurate pricing, thorough analysis, and effective cost control. Your expertise will help drive project success from initial bidding through project completion, supporting our commitment to delivering high-quality construction solutions on time and within budget. Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction estimates by analyzing blueprints, specifications, and project requirements using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to develop accurate pricing strategies that reflect current market conditions and project scope.
• Conduct thorough quantity take-offs, cost analysis, and value engineering to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
• Negotiate with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors to secure competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
• Assist in the development of bid proposals, contracts, and scope of work documents that clearly define project expectations.
• Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budgets and identify potential cost overruns early.
• Support project management teams by providing detailed cost reports, forecasts, and recommendations for effective cost control measures.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of construction processes and site operations.
• Proficiency in estimating software.
• Solid knowledge of construction estimating principles including pricing strategies, quantity take-offs, and cost control techniques.
• Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with subcontractors and suppliers.
• Hands-on construction site experience is highly desirable to better understand project complexities.
• Strong communication skills for clear collaboration with team members, clients, and vendors.

Pay: $50,119.31 - $100,000.00 per year
