Evening Server/Waiter/Waitress

The Americana Diner is hiring servers who are available to work evenings (4:30 am-9pm) on various days Monday-Friday. We are a full service and family friendly, restaurant located inside the Greater Chicago I-55 Truck Plaza in Bolingbrook, IL.

Candidates must be responsible, dependable, attentive to customers, and possess common sense. A minimum of 1-2 years of wait staff experience is highly favorable. Weekend hours are not available currently but could be down the road.

Ideal candidate should be friendly, cheerful, and positive as well as possess the ability to handle a fast pace environment. Communicating with clients kindly and effectively is imperative. Our clients are loyal and appreciative so our servers can make (on average) between $18-$25 per hour with tips, if great service is given.

The right candidate must be able to stand on their feet for 6-10 hours per day, operate the Point of Sale (register) system, be attentive to people, have good hygiene, follow health sanitation and cleaning rules, and demonstrate kindness and gratitude in the work environment.
