Event Bartender Staff

Position Title: Event Bartenders
Location: Dublin

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and Serve Beverages:

Skillfully prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, including pulling pints and serving pints of Guinness to the highest standards.

• Keg Management:

Change kegs efficiently and safely to ensure uninterrupted beverage service throughout the event.

• Maintain Bar Cleanliness:

Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked at all times, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests.

• Customer Interaction:

Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering beverage recommendations and answering any questions.

• Responsible Alcohol Service:

Ensure responsible alcohol service in compliance with local laws, including verifying the legal drinking age of patrons.

• Inventory Management:

Monitor and manage stock levels throughout the event, restocking supplies as needed and maintaining a smooth flow of service.

• Cashier & Till Duties:

Process guest payments accurately using the cash register or POS system. Handle cash, card transactions, and ensure accurate change and receipts are provided. Reconcile cash register at the start and end of each shift.

• Team Collaboration:

Work effectively with other event staff, including servers and event managers, to ensure a seamless and efficient service.

• Event Setup & Breakdown:

Assist with the setup and breakdown of the bar area before and after the event, ensuring all equipment is in place and the venue is left clean.

Requirements:

• Experience:

Minimum of two years in bartending or a related hospitality role. Experience pulling pints and changing kegs is essential.

• Language Skills:

Proficiency in English is required.

• Customer Service:

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests in a professional and friendly manner.

• Adaptability:

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, event-based environment while maintaining high standards of service.

• Uniform Compliance:

Must adhere to the specified uniform guidelines at all times.

• Legal Status:

Must be legally permitted to work in Ireland.

• Event Availability:

Flexible availability on designated event dates.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €13.80-€15.50 per hour
