Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual with a commercially-driven mindset to support the Directors and Managers in the Venue Commercial Partnerships team in the effective execution of Catering and Advertising & Promotions (A&P) sales operations for the Singapore EXPO. This role involves strong internal coordination and external stakeholder management to achieve revenue targets while delivering an excellent experience for venue clients and patrons.
- Collaborate with the A&P Specialist to conceptualize and implement venue advertising and promotional strategies that build a robust sales pipeline and identify new sales opportunities.
- Act as a key liaison between internal operations and event services teams and external partners, including advertising agencies, media houses, printing vendors, authorities, and other relevant stakeholders, to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Support the Catering Sales & Partnerships Manager in conducting regular inspections, evaluations, and engagement sessions with catering consultants and partners to maintain high standards of food quality and service.
- Assist in managing the externally appointed operator for the Exhibitor Service Centre (ESC) platform, ensuring operational excellence and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), including: 1) Timely response to enquiries, 2) Order processing and fulfilment, 3) Content management, 4) Pricing strategy execution and 5) Onsite collection kiosk operations.
- Support the accurate and timely issuance of invoices, payment tracking and payment collection according to the contractual terms.
- Provide general administrative and operational support as required to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Qualifications
- Diploma or equivalent in Business Administration, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Proven experience in an administrative or sales support role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Pro-active, self-motivated and keen learner.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Experience with contract administration is a plus.
