Job description

We are looking for friendly and energetic, experienced bartenders to join our team.

Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role

Responsibilities and duties will include:

• Greeting customers in a friendly fashion and welcoming them to the bar.
• Checking I.D. to ensure consumers are of a legal age to consume alcohol.
• Making drinks and preparing cocktails in a timely manner..
• Ensuring company standard operating procedures are adhered to at all times.
• Processing payments as soon as possible.
• Bringing drinks to a customer’s table.
• Acting as a waiter and taking orders.
• Continually replenish stock and clean the bar.
• Changing of kegs.
• Preparing garnishes for drinks.
• Report any problems directly to the bar manager.
• Wash and stack glassware correctly.

Basic Requirements:

• Be age 18 or over
• Ability to communicate well and understand the English language to a high standard
• A good knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and common drink recipes.
• Possess basic math skills, and have the ability to handle cash and operate a cash register.
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to (but not exceeding) 20 kilos.
