Experienced Hotel Housekeeper

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces to ensure a pristine environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and recreational spaces by sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting floors regularly.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and guest clothing as needed.
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, towels, and amenities to guarantee guest satisfaction.
• Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages promptly to management for quick resolution.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures related to cleanliness standards, health regulations, and guest privacy.

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services with a strong understanding of hospitality standards.
• Expertise in cleaning techniques, including floor care (mopping, buffing), dusting, vacuuming, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and supplies used in large-scale custodial tasks.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and respond courteously to guest requests.
• Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team dedicated to excellence in service delivery.
