Experienced Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on all projects.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Read and interpret schematics and blueprints to determine project requirements.
• Collaborate with construction teams to ensure proper execution of painting tasks.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Perform drywall repairs as needed prior to painting.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the project duration.
• Manage time efficiently to meet project deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial painting, residential painting, and industrial painting.
• Strong understanding of construction practices related to painting projects.
• Familiarity with drywall installation and repair techniques is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics accurately.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools related to the painting trade.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team setting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
