Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in various painting disciplines, including residential, commercial, restoration, and industrial painting. This role requires strong technical skills, excellent communication, and The want to learn more about the trade .
The Painter will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint and coatings, and ensuring high-quality finishes that meet project specifications. Candidates with a background in construction, carpentry, or rigging are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, caulking, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion
- Apply paint, stains, varnishes, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or power tools with precision
- Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for surface preparation and finishing tasks
- Perform restoration work on damaged or aged surfaces to restore them to original condition
- Execute commercial, industrial, residential, and specialty painting projects according to client/boss specifications
- Manage rigging and scaffolding setup when working at heights or on large structures
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and disposing of waste properly
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients to ensure project timelines are met
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting, restoration, or related fields such as carpentry or industrial painting
- Skilled in the use of hand tools and power tools associated with painting and surface preparation
- Knowledge of caulking techniques and surface sealing methods
- Strong time management skills to complete projects efficiently within deadlines
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients
- Ability to work safely at heights using rigging equipment when necessary
- Prior experience with residential and commercial painting projects is preferred
- A valid driver’s license is a plus for traveling between job sites
- Must be able to cut in a wall properly and be able to roll and properly back roll

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
