Experienced Residential Painter

****THIS POSITION REQUIRES PAINTING EXPERIENCE***

North Woods Finishing is seeking a Full Time Residential and Light Commercial Onsite Painter. As our company has been growing rapidly, we are seeking professionals with the drive to work and the commitment to learn the necessary skills to add value to our company's success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Show up where and when, on time
• Properly prep for painting ceilings, walls, doors, trim, cabinets
• Painting with brush, roller, airless sprayer
• Drywall patching/repair
• Keeping jobsite clean and organized
• Quality control, making sure the job is done well and on time
• Have the ability to identify and prioritize tasks without being told and address them accordingly
• Have the ability to ask questions when they do not understand issues in the field
• Keep work van clean, organized, and stocked

EXPERIENCE:

• 1+ years of on-site painting
• Proficient in using tools such as brushes, rollers, and airless sprayers
• Experience with drywall patching
• Comfortable with ladders and heights
• Ability to lift 50-70 pounds
• General cleaning and maintenance of equipment
• Must have previous experience painting and be able to keep a reasonable work pace for your abilities

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

• Can-Do attitude
• Must pass criminal background check
• Clean driving record
• Valid drivers license and reliable vehicle
• Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English
• Good communication skills

EDUCATION:

• High School or Equivalent
