Facilities Technician

Qualifications & experience

• Candidate must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical or 2-year related technical course.
• Must have basic English oral and written communication skills; computer literate; able to read and interpret technical diagrams.
• Candidate should demonstrate sufficient understanding of Facilities Management, particularly in the operational and maintenance aspects of critical systems such as air-conditioning units (AC) and Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). Experience in routine repairs and troubleshooting for these systems is highly desirable.
• Can drive preferably with a driver's license.
• With NC II certification is an advantage but not required.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Regular monitoring, with a minimum frequency of daily or weekly checks (depending on the specific equipment), of the following systems: Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, Fire Detection and Alarm System (FDAS), Air Conditioning (A/C) temperature, and Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS).
• Quarterly maintenance, including cleaning, of air-conditioning equipment and other mechanical devices.
• Timely response to service requests pertaining to the repair, repainting, and upkeep of furniture, fixtures, and equipment within the office premises.
• Facilitation of vendors and contractors during maintenance or repair procedures.
