Facilities Technician

Job Overview

As a Facilities Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. This position requires a blend of technical skills and leadership abilities to oversee maintenance tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify and address maintenance issues
• Perform repairs on electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other systems
• Supervise and coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs
• Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory
• Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Use tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and other equipment for maintenance tasks
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills to supervise maintenance activities effectively
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairs
• Experience in facilities maintenance and repair work
• Familiarity with CMMS software for work order management
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: From $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
