- Compensation. We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $130,000 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to base salary, you may be eligible for performance-based bonuses.

Job Description:
ATG is seeking a Facility Security Officer to manage day-to-day accounting, drive month-end close, support federal proposal pricing, and partner on budgeting and strategic financial planning for multi-million-dollar Firm-Fixed Price contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the Facility Security Officer (FSO) for a DoD-cleared facility in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM).
- Maintain and update the facility’s security program, including physical security, access control, and visitor management.
- Onboard cleared personnel by collecting and submitting all necessary security documentation, initiating background investigations, and managing Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing (e-QIP)/ Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) processes.
- Track and ensure completion of all required security training and briefings, including annual refreshers, insider threat training, and cybersecurity awareness.
- Submit and manage Visit Access Requests (VARs), clearance verifications, and reciprocity requests through Defense Information System for Security (DISS)/ National Background Investigation Services (NBIS).
- Maintain the facility’s subject and personnel security information in DISS/NBIS and ensure timely updates to NISS.
- Coordinate and conduct annual self-inspections, and prepare for Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA) Security Reviews, addressing findings and implementing corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with DD254 contract requirements and advise program teams on safeguarding classified information.
- Maintain organized, audit-ready records of all facility and personnel security documentation in accordance with DoD policy.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all security-related matters and support internal teams with security guidance and incident response.
- Submit and manage information technology (IT) and Common Access Card (CAC) requests in accordance with contract and sponsor-specific requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- 5+ years of experience as an Assistant Facility Security Officer or similar security role supporting a cleared facility.
- Completion of FSO for Possessing Facilities training - Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE).
- Within 30 days of hire, must complete: Insider Threat Awareness, Cybersecurity Awareness or Challenge, and Personally Identifiable Information (PII) training.
- Strong working knowledge of the NISPOM, DoD Manuals, and government systems including DISS, NISS, NBIS, and SWFT.
- Experience with DD254s, physical security implementation, and classified information safeguarding.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to quickly learn new security systems and software.
- Excellent communication skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
- Must be a U.S. citizen with an active Top Secret DoD security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Certified Insider Threat Program Senior Official (ITPSO) or experience managing insider threat responsibilities.
- Working knowledge of DoD System Security Engineering (RMF, Cyber Resilience, Anti-Tamper).
- Familiarity with cryptographic controls, separation of privileges, and secure architecture design.
- Experience supporting security compliance in proposal or contract execution environments.
- Local to Washington DC, Boston, or Denver.
Job Classification & Location:
Full-time, Salary/FLSA Exempt. Remote-friendly, with ~10% travel for collaboration and site visits.

Security Clearance:
