Job Summary:

We are looking for a Farm Veterinarian - Management Trainee to join our team. As a Management Trainee, you will undergo a comprehensive training program to develop your skills and gain knowledge in veterinary practices, poultry management, and the overall operations of the company. This position offers a unique opportunity for growth within the company, eventually leading to a managerial role in the veterinary department.

Requirements:

• A Graduate of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM)
• Strong interest in developing a career in veterinary management, with a focus on poultry operations
• Proficiency in poultry health management, disease prevention, and biosecurity protocols
• Willingness to undergo training and grow into a leadership role within the company

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participate in the management of the veterinary care and health of poultry within the farm operations
• Assist in monitoring the health of livestock and identifying any diseases or health issues in the poultry
• Support the veterinary team in implementing disease prevention, vaccination, and treatment plans
• Assist in the development and implementation of biosecurity protocols and farm hygiene practices
• Support the management of poultry production, ensuring compliance with health and quality standards
• Learn and apply veterinary management techniques while working closely with senior veterinarians and farm managers
• Participate in regular farm audits and contribute to developing action plans for improving poultry health and productivity
