Field Marketing Leadnew

About Actively AI

Our thesis is that businesses of the future will be powered by agentic human-in-loop-machines that make every business function 10x more efficient.

Actively AI is building that superintelligent machine for Enterprise GTM organizations, focused on increasing productivity per rep. We power the day-to-day for outbound teams at dozens of companies like Samsara, Ramp, Verkada, and Ironclad.

Why does this matter? Because revenue is the ultimate fuel for businesses. The hundreds of millions of dollars we generate for our customers enables them to employ more people, innovate faster, and deliver more value to their customers.

In addition to top-notch customers that love our product, our team is incredibly high caliber - the co-founders are former Stanford AI researchers and the engineering team comes from Harvard, CMU, Berkeley, Brex, Scale AI, and Google. We're also backed by top investors, including Bain Capital Ventures, First Round Capital (seed investors in Uber, Square, Roblox, Clearbit), Lachy Groom, and Stanford AI faculty.

We have a very ambitious product and scaling roadmap, there’s strong market interest in what we are doing, and it’s time to put the foot on the gas. If you get excited by the thought of working really hard on these kinds of problems with a high caliber team, then Actively AI is the right place for you.

About the Role

We are hiring our first Field Marketing Lead to build and own the function from the ground up. This is a foundational role at a critical inflection point for the business, as it will directly shape how Actively AI builds mindshare in our ICP, supports our outbound sales motion, and drives pipeline as we scale.

This person will define the strategy, operating model, and execution for all events and field programs, spanning flagship conferences, executive dinners, customer and user events, roadshows, and bespoke sales-driven activations. You won’t be inheriting a mature playbook. You’ll be writing it, testing it, and evolving it in real time alongside Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and executive leadership.

This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to senior leaders across the organization. Success will be measured by real business outcomes: pipeline created, deals influenced, and revenue impact — not vanity metrics. If you’re excited by ownership, autonomy, and the chance to build a function that becomes a core growth lever for the company, this role offers a rare opportunity to do exactly that at a company that is poised for exponential growth.

Your Role Includes

Lead Strategy & Execution

  • Build and own a holistic field strategy that spans 1:1 to 1:many programs including conferences, customer/user events, executive dinners, direct mail, and more.
  • Define and manage the annual events calendar in close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams.
  • Serve as the primary owner for event logistics, content strategy, vendor coordination, and on-site execution.

Drive Revenue & Pipeline

  • Collaborate with Sales and Demand Gen to ensure events are tightly aligned with pipeline goals and outbound sales initiatives.
  • Design and implement promotion playbooks that help sales teams capture qualified leads and accelerate deal progression before, during, and after events.
  • Partner with RevOps to define KPIs, forecast ROI, and measure the impact of events on pipeline and revenue.

Team & Stakeholder Leadership

  • Lead cross-functional planning teams, coordinate internal stakeholders, and manage external partners (venues, agencies, experiential vendors).
  • Advise and enable field sales teams with tools, training, and messaging to maximize event effectiveness.
  • Serve as the marketing owner for executive-level events and sales-driven experiences.

Optimize & Scale

  • Establish repeatable processes for budget planning, event scoping, vendor selection, and success measurement.
  • Leverage data to refine strategies, improve experiences, and drive continuous performance improvement.
  • Own post-event analysis and reporting, ensuring learnings are documented and applied.
  • Operate with urgency, creativity, and experimentation — rapidly testing what works to drive enterprise impact

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience B2B field marketing experience with direct ownership of enterprise programs (startups or high-growth SaaS strongly preferred)
  • Deep experience supporting an outbound sales motion by working tightly with sales to design events that generate measurable pipeline.
  • Strong understanding of event promotion, outbound strategy, and pre/post nurture architecture
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to juggle multiple programs, deadlines, and internal stakeholders.
  • Experience managing vendor relationships, procurement cycles, contract negotiation, and multi-partner coordination
  • Excellent communication and leadership capabilities; able to influence internal partners and lead external vendors.
  • Self-starter with an enormous appetite for learning and ambition to build something great
  • Your friends would describe you as creative / a 'hacker' or tinkerer
  • Quantitative intuitions and first-principles approach
  • High tolerance for ambiguity and ability to change perspectives

Why Join

It’s not often that you can get in on the ground floor of a well-funded startup that’s scaling very fast. That means that instead of following a playbook, you’ll be writing it. Every single day you will be challenged to identify how we can scale and execute on it. You’ll learn what works when you succeed and what doesn’t when you fail. You'll also be in the trenches with an incredibly high caliber, low-ego group of people that are obsessed with building something great.
