Service Technician 24/7 Shift Roster Days/Nights
Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at customer sites or in-house. The role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving ability, and a customer-focused approach to ensure equipment operates safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, commission, service, and repair equipment according to specifications and safety standards
- Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance in a timely manner
- Carry out routine preventative maintenance and inspections
- Respond to service calls and breakdowns on-site or remotely
- Test equipment after repair to ensure proper operation
- Complete service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation accurately
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding issues, solutions, and preventative measures
- Maintain tools, test equipment, and service vehicles in good working order
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times
- Liaise with technical support, parts, and engineering teams as required
- Help train new employees as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Technical diploma, trade certificate, or equivalent qualification
- Relevant industry experience as a Service Technician or similar role
- Valid driver’s license (where field service is required)
- Certifications or licenses relevant to the industry (preferred)
- Eligibility to work in Republic of Ireland
Skills & Competencies
- Strong mechanical, electrical, or electronic troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, drawings, and schematics
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Basic computer literacy (service software, email, reporting tools)
Working Conditions
- Based at Intel Ireland, Co Kildare
- May require travel, or on-call availability
- Exposure to machinery, tools, and varying environmental conditions

- Quality of service documentation
- Customer satisfaction and feedback
- Compliance with safety and quality standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From €52,000.00 per year
