Fitz Scientific is a world class monitoring and testing company that meet and exceed customer expectations. Based in Drogheda Co. Louth we are seeking to recruit a Field Services Technician based in the Killarney area for our growing and expanding business in the South and South West area.

Responsibilities include:

  • Take/collect samples from multiple domestic sites and water treatment plants
  • Document on site data using handheld device.
  • Meeting agreed targets for the number of samples collected per week.
  • Accurately recording sample data in the field using the supplied resources.
  • Transporting samples following correct procedures to designated location.
  • Keep accurate records of samples collected and all relevant requirements.
  • Communicate with the customer regarding sampling requirements.
  • Adhere to specific protocol for entering premises and collecting samples.
  • Adhere to all Health and Safety requirements including PPE usage.
  • Communicate with customers, ensuring the site-specific protocol requirements are fully understood and are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ensure resources and equipment are prepared, calibrated and ready for use.
  • Adhere to the highest quality and technical standards at all stages of the process.
  • Company vehicle provided.
  • Daily allowance in addition to salary.
  • Full training given.

Working time hours 8.30am - 4.30pm Mon - Friday.

Requirements

Full clean driving licence.

Good organisational and time management skills.

Self-motivated and ability to work on own initiative.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

Good interpersonal skills and act with integrity.

Previous driving experience in a similar role would be advantageous.

Good PC skills.

Fluent spoken and written English.

Appointment to this role is subject to the candidate’s eligibility to work in Ireland.
