- Chinna Salem, United States of America
- $40000.0 - $60000.0
- Full Time
This position is demanding, involving hands-on service and sales in challenging environments—we'll train you in-house, no prior experience needed. But let's be real: you'll be crawling through dirty, cramped crawlspaces filled with bugs, dust, and who knows what else. You'll work outside in all weather—pouring rain, freezing snow, or scorching hot days that leave you drenched in sweat. This isn't a desk job; it's physically tough and often uncomfortable. Ideal candidates thrive on challenges, embrace discomfort as a path to growth, and are eager to push their limits. You'll need to build rapport with clients, work independently or in teams, make smart decisions under pressure, and stay motivated even when the going gets rough. A key part of the role is sales: you must actively offer service add-ons, upsell additional treatments, and even do door-to-door (D2D) prospecting to grow the business. Expect long hours—this isn't a 9-to-5 with great work-life balance; it requires serious dedication, self-motivation, and a commitment to constant improvement. If you're the type who wants to level up personally and professionally while facing real-world grit, this could be for you.
First and foremost, your core values should align with ours:
- Give A Crap - Delight others by owning your role and saying yes, even when it means tackling the messy, unglamorous parts of the job. Take pride in how you appear and act, every detail matters—be on time, attentive, and enthusiastic, no matter the conditions. Act as if the buck stops with you, especially in tough spots like sweltering attics or muddy yards.
- Chase Perfection - Pursue excellence relentlessly, knowing perfection is out of reach but the chase builds resilience. Have a sense of urgency; Go-Forth Time means acting now, because in pest control, hesitation can mean bigger problems later—whether it's braving extreme weather or sealing a deal on the spot.
- Dig Deeper - Be an action-oriented pro who bases decisions on evidence, not assumptions. Stay curious and analytical, understanding root causes—like why that crawlspace is infested—rather than just putting out fires. This mindset helps when discomfort hits and you need to problem-solve fast.
- Fight For Simplicity - Keep processes simple and consistent, focusing on doing things right every time, even in chaotic environments like storm-soaked job sites or high-pressure sales conversations.
- Face it, Fix It - Confront challenges head-on, whether it's a grueling physical task or a tough client interaction. Bias for action and honest conversations drive progress—it's about getting it right, not being right, especially when offering add-ons or handling objections during D2D sales.
- GROW! - Growth is our purpose: growing as people through discomfort and challenges, and growing our business via dedicated service and proactive sales. If you're not okay with long days, unpredictable conditions, and stepping outside your comfort zone, this isn't the role for you.
