For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d).
Your Tasks:
- Reconciliation/clarification of customer, insurer and general ledger accounts
- Independent posting of bank accounts, credit cards
- Support in the preparation of annual financial statements
- Coordination/control of payments and bank balances
- Extensive administration (documentation, preparation of annual financial statements)
- Direct communication with domestic and foreign shipping and insurance companies
- Checking and allocation of incoming invoices
- Processing of dunning and claim payments
- Coordination with external auditors and tax advisors
- Support in the development, optimization, and implementation of projects in the finance sector
Your Profile
- Qualified completed training or successfully completed studies with a focus on finance/controlling
- First professional experience in accounting is desirable
- Experience in the field of taxation law (sales and insurance tax) would be an advantage
- Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business
- Fluent in spoken and written English (C1)
- Team player with independent way of working
- High customer- and service orientation
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
