Financial Accountant (M/F/D)

For our office in Hamburg we are looking for a Financial Accountant (m/f/d).

Your Tasks:

• Reconciliation/clarification of customer, insurer and general ledger accounts
• Independent posting of bank accounts, credit cards
• Support in the preparation of annual financial statements
• Coordination/control of payments and bank balances
• Extensive administration (documentation, preparation of annual financial statements)
• Direct communication with domestic and foreign shipping and insurance companies
• Checking and allocation of incoming invoices
• Processing of dunning and claim payments
• Coordination with external auditors and tax advisors
• Support in the development, optimization, and implementation of projects in the finance sector

Your Profile

• Qualified completed training or successfully completed studies with a focus on finance/controlling
• First professional experience in accounting is desirable
• Experience in the field of taxation law (sales and insurance tax) would be an advantage
• Affinity and accuracy in dealing with numbers in daily business
• Fluent in spoken and written English (C1)
• Team player with independent way of working
• High customer- and service orientation
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel)
