The Fire Safety Coordinator will focus on providing superior customer service to our clients within a very fast paced environment. The position will report to the Fire Safety Manager and will work closely with the other Fire Safety Coordinator. Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm with an hour unpaid lunch.
Core Duties:
- Take lead on incoming calls.
- Assist in overseeing Fire Safety emails, Maintenance Issues report and Service Technician’s scheduling.
- Create service tickets/work orders.
- Schedule confirmations.
- Review & send daily Fire Safety Reports.
- Liaison between Salespeople and Service Technicians.
- Inside sales/service repair quotes.
- Back up scheduling.
- Other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Related post-secondary education or equivalent education and combined experience.
- 2 to 3 years in a similar type of position in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous scheduling experience is an asset.
- Demonstrated ability working within a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; experience with ERP system is an asset.
- A passion for providing exceptional customer service.
- Advanced knowledge in Customer Service requirements as per fire alarm systems is an asset.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities including diffusing difficult situations.
- Clear criminal record.
The pay for this position will be based on education and experience.
