About the Role

As the Fleet Coordinator, you will deliver support to the AusNet business relating to the day-to-day management of its vehicle fleet and associated assets, including managing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure that business operations are effectively supported with safe and reliable fleet needs.


With a Hybrid split Office / WFH. This role will report to the Fleet Manager, People Operations and is located at Lilydale, Victoria.


What you will deliver

  • Coordinate, review, and action day-to-day operational fleet requirements.
  • Coordinate maintenance, repair and accident resolution for the Fleet within agreed-upon timeframes.
  • Manage the distribution of fuel cards and etags.
  • Reconcile fleet associated invoices.
  • Monitor AusNet’s fleet performance and produce reports for business stakeholders to ensure policy compliance and enable decision-making regarding current and future fleet requirements.
  • Accurate management of the fleet asset register, including audits of data accuracy and integrity.
  • Coordinate and assist with the delivery of replacement fleet and plant including asset handover and disposal in accordance with AusNet’s fleet replacement program and policy.
  • Promote innovation, improvement and a positive delivery-focused culture in AusNet Services fleet operations.
  • Ensure that the highest safety standards are practised by the AusNet Services fleet operation.

What we like about you

  • Demonstrated skills and experience in an administrative operations corporate function or a a corporate fleet management
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations/compliance standards relating to managing a corporate fleet.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with drivers and other stakeholders to ensure smooth fleet operations.
  • Relevant IT, administrative and business systems knowledge; Figtree and SAP would be advantageous..
  • Experience in applying policies and procedures relating to day-to-day operations of a centralised corporate function.
  • Strong business acumen and a customer service ethos
