Assistant Hotel ManagerSummary The primary responsibility of a floater is to provide support and assistance wherever they are needed. This can include tasks such as covering shifts for absent employees, assisting with team support, and providing support in different departments with workload spikes. Floaters should be outgoing and possess strong communication and problem-solving skills. They must be able to quickly learn new processes and procedures, as well as work well in a team environment.

Job Duties

• Learn all roles and responsibilities for each department, and eventually work in each department.

Front Desk Agent duties and responsibilities

• A Front Desk Agent ensures residents receive the best service possible from the property. They provide residents with their room amenities, address their needs, and resolve any complaints they may have throughout their stay. Other duties and responsibilities of a Front Desk Agent may include:
• Greeting all residents upon their arrival and providing a hospitable welcome
• Recording resident information in the company’s internal database and directing them to their designated rooms
• Receiving calls, conducting room reservations, and verifying existing bookings
• Processing residents’ payments
• Assisting residents who request additional services including new keys, milk/creamer, etc.
• Keeping the front desk neat, orderly, and sanitized at all times.

Food Server Job Responsibilities and Duties

• Cleans and prepares the dining area for residents
• Greets residents and helps them to their seats
• Maintains knowledge of every menu item
• Documents orders accurately and puts through POS system
• Delivers beverages and meals when ready
• Asks for customer feedback
• Prepares bills and processes payments for guests
• Prepares cutlery for next meal
• Prepares desserts
• Cleans up after residents and sets up for new resident
• Vacuums and mops the floor daily.
• End of shift reports required by accounting and mgmt.
• Data entry

Hotel Housekeeping Job Responsibilities

• Performs cleaning duties in all guest areas and back of house.
• Consistently offers professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Ensures housekeeping departmental standards are followed.
• Responds timely to guests’ special requests for miscellaneous items like cribs, cots, extra towels, etc.
• Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
• Reports necessary maintenance items.
• Follows departmental policies and procedures.
• Follows all safety and sanitation policies
• Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
• Performs additional duties as needed.
• Daily cleaning of resident’s rooms as per company standards

• Past experience in some or all roles
• Maintain a clean appearance
• Can work well in a fast-paced, high stress environment
• Can work Weekends, holidays, evenings, early mornings and over night shifts.
• Can work shift work
• Must have open availability.
• Must be able to do 12 hour shifts

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.50-$18.50 per hour

Expected hours: 16 – 40 per week
