Food Production/Dishwasher - Full-Time

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of all dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. This role is essential in supporting the smooth operation of our restaurant or hospitality environment, ensuring a clean and safe space for food preparation and service. Prior experience in food service or hospitality is a plus, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Dishwasher plays a vital role in upholding health standards and contributing to an efficient kitchen workflow.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas
• Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, including handling food items safely
• Support kitchen staff by ensuring all necessary clean items are readily available for food service
• Follow proper sanitation procedures in accordance with health regulations
• Manage waste disposal and recycling processes appropriately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely cleaning during busy service hours

Skills

• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation standards
• Previous experience in restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food handling safety and basic food preparation techniques
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting
• Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills
• Basic understanding of kitchen operations and food service procedures
