Ford Service Advisor/Writer

Do you have proven success in the automotive industry and excellent customer service skills? Bob Davidson Ford Lincoln is looking for an experienced Service Advisor to join our team! This position drives sales by executing best practices to ensure each customer is provided with a great experience, to explain needed vehicle maintenance and repairs, to aid in any areas the Service Manager may require assistance, and to create a positive selling environment through professional communication with customers, management and service technicians.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations.
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service and good employee and community relations.
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and updating customers frequently
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales & execute retail promotions.
• Responsible for overseeing the technician working on customers’ vehicle including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times.
• Oversee and participate in quality control.
• Participate in the development and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures as appropriate.

Qualifications and Skills

• Previous experience as an automotive Service Advisor required
• Luxury automotive experience preferred
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Must be friendly and courteous
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Positive attitude
• Ability to drive manual and automatic transmission vehicles preferred
• Ability to read, write and speak English fluently.
• Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
