What You’ll Do
As a Foreman, you are responsible for the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of blasting and coating projects while leading crews in the field.
Foreman key responsibilities include:
- Lead and supervise field crews while maintaining a safe and productive job site
- Plan daily work activities and assign tasks based on crew skill levels
- Ensure production goals and quality standards are met or exceeded
- Enforce all safety policies and customer requirements
- Troubleshoot equipment and coordinate maintenance, as needed
- Communicate project status with Site Leaders and Project Managers
- Complete daily reports, job documentation, and material tracking
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the crew, management, and customer
- Travel to job sites and remain away from home 3–6 weeks at a time, as required
What We’re Looking For in a Foreman
- 5+ years of experience in industrial sandblasting and coating (required)
- 2+ years of experience of crew leadership roles (required)
- Prior experience running crews and maintaining safe, efficient job sites
- Experience with a variety of industrial spray application pumps – such as airless and conventional. Plural Component experience is a plus!
- Ability to troubleshoot blasting and coating equipment
- Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
- Safety-first mindset with a solid work ethic
- Experience with trowel-applied coatings, fiberglass matting, secondary containment linings and floor coatings or related trades (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft programs and job-related software)
- English proficiency required for safety and job training – bilingual candidates would be a plus.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean 5-year driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from our offices and the willingness to travel nationwide.
Physical & Work Environment Expectations
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs. (100 lbs. with assistance)
- Comfortable working outdoors, in confined spaces, at heights, and in industrial environments
- Use of PPE at all times – up to and including gloves, safety glasses, hard hat, harnesses, etc.
- Willingness to work extended hours and overtime as needed
