This is a one-time contract position, but outstanding performance could lead to more consistent contract opportunities and long-term collaboration with our agency for future projects.

Project Overview:
We are seeking a freelance video editor for a one-time contract to edit 3 hours of corporate event video coverageinto:

• A shortened version that highlights key moments from the event.
• A 90-second highlight video that encapsulates the event's essence in a dynamic, engaging format.

This role requires a keen eye for storytelling, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver professional results that align with the client’s vision and brief.

Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze 3 hours of raw footage to identify key moments for both videos.
• Edit a shortened version (with a clear focus on important moments) and ensure smooth transitions and cohesive flow.
• Create a 90-second highlight video that captures the best moments and tells a compelling story.
• Apply professional editing techniques, including:
• Cutting and pacing for engagement and clarity.
• Adding transitions where necessary for visual flow.
• Basic color grading for a polished, consistent look.
• Audio editing (syncing, noise reduction, leveling).
• Ensure both videos meet the client’s expectations for quality and tone.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions from the client if necessary.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience editing corporate or event videos.
• Strong portfolio showcasing similar projects (shortened event footage and highlight reels).
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.
• Strong storytelling skills with a focus on professional, corporate-style editing.
• Excellent time management skills to complete both videos within the agreed timeline (4 hours allocated for the 90-second video, 15 hours allocated for the shortened version).
• Reliable communication skills to ensure client expectations are met.

• Proficiency in identifying and editing key moments to convey a cohesive narrative.
• Ability to meet deadlines while delivering polished, professional results.
• Strong understanding of corporate tone and event coverage editing styles.

Project Scope and Timeline:

• Project Type: One-time contract.
• Allocated Hours:
• 90-Second Video: 4 hours
• Shortened Video: 15 hours
• Timeline: Deliver final versions within an agreed-upon deadline.

Compensation:

• Rate: 200 to 220 PHP per hour
• Payment Method: Wise Transfer upon completion of the project
• Bonus: Potential bonus pay based on performance review at the end of the contract
