Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere at our Hotel. Your responsibilities will include managing reservations, assisting guests with inquiries, and performing night audit duties as needed. Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
  • Manage check-in and check-out procedures efficiently to ensure a smooth guest experience.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications through phone systems and online platforms.
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience.
  • Address guest inquiries and resolve any issues promptly with professionalism and courtesy.
  • Perform night audit duties as required, ensuring accurate financial reporting for the day’s transactions.
  • Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction and seamless operations.
  • Assisting with any left over laundry to be folded and put away in an orderly fashion.
  • Set up breakfast and maintain breakfast during breakfast hours

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a front desk role or customer service position within the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus; experience with phone systems is essential.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and team members.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $12.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
