Front Desk Agent

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be committed to enhancing the guest experience.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
  • Handle guest inquiries and requests promptly, providing information about hotel services, local attractions, and amenities.
  • Process reservations and cancellations through various channels, ensuring accuracy in bookings.
  • Maintain the front desk area in an organized and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to address guest needs and resolve issues effectively.
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
  • Utilize phone etiquette skills to manage incoming calls, directing them appropriately or addressing guest concerns as needed.
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Experience

  • Previous experience in hospitality management or hotel management is preferred but not required.
  • Strong background in guest relations with proven ability to handle diverse customer interactions effectively.
  • Familiarity with front desk operations and guest services is advantageous.
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus, enhancing communication with guests from various backgrounds.
  • Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for success in this role.
  • A commitment to providing outstanding service in a resort or hotel environment is highly valued.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 34 per week
