Front Desk Agent

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Front Desk Agent to join our team at Residence Inn Dover. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional customer service skills and a passion for hospitality and is open for day shift or evening shift. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience. Your ability to manage guest relations effectively while handling various administrative tasks will contribute significantly to our guests' overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
  • Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring all guest information is accurately recorded.
  • Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications with attention to detail.
  • Address guest inquiries and concerns promptly, providing solutions to enhance their experience.
  • Conduct night audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately processed.
  • Maintain knowledge of hotel amenities, services, and local attractions to assist guests effectively.
  • Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls and direct them appropriately.
  • Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
  • Assist in managing guest accounts and billing inquiries with professionalism.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations and guest services is an asset.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with diverse guests.
  • abilities are a plus, enhancing communication with international visitors.
  • Proficiency in using phone systems and basic computer software for reservation management.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • A background in hospitality management or related fields is advantageous but not mandatory.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.50 per hour
