Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Front Desk Agent, where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for our guests from the moment they arrive. In this vital role, you will serve as the welcoming face of our hotel, managing guest check-ins and check-outs, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Your proactive approach and friendly demeanor will help foster guest loyalty and uphold our reputation for hospitality excellence. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in hotel management and guest relations within a vibrant resort environment.

MUST have open availability and able to work all three shifts if needed (7A-3P, 3P-11P, & 11P-7A). This is a part-time position.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a positive first impression through excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor
  • Manage multi-line phone systems efficiently to handle reservations, inquiries, and guest requests with clarity and courtesy
  • Check guests in and out swiftly while verifying reservations, processing payments, and updating guest records accurately
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experience
  • Handle guest concerns promptly and professionally, resolving issues to ensure satisfaction and loyalty
  • Assist with night audit procedures when scheduled, balancing accounts and preparing reports for management
  • Maintain a tidy and organized front desk area, ensuring all guest documentation is up-to-date and accessible

Requirements

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations preferred; hotel experience is highly valued
  • Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
  • Multilingual or bilingual abilities are a plus, enabling effective communication with diverse guests
  • Knowledge of hotel management systems and multi-line phone systems to streamline daily operations
  • Familiarity with guest services, resort environments, and hospitality standards to deliver exceptional guest relations
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed for night audit shifts or peak times
  • Excellent communication skills with a professional phone etiquette approach
