Front Desk Agent

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and welcoming Front Desk Agent to be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring their experience begins with warmth, professionalism, and exceptional service. In this vital role, you will manage guest check-ins and check-outs, handle inquiries, and provide information about our resort’s amenities and services. Your energetic attitude and attention to detail will help create memorable stays for our guests while maintaining smooth front desk operations. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your hospitality management skills and passion for guest relations in a vibrant resort environment.

Duties

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a friendly and professional first impression
  • Manage multi-line phone systems to answer inquiries, make reservations, and coordinate guest requests
  • Check guests in and out efficiently using hotel management software, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Handle guest concerns or complaints promptly, offering solutions that enhance guest satisfaction
  • Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services to enhance guest experiences
  • Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and billing details
  • Support night audit procedures by reconciling daily financial transactions and preparing reports as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in hospitality management or hotel front desk operations
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and proactive approach
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly desirable to assist diverse guest populations
  • Strong communication skills with professional phone etiquette and the ability to manage multi-line phone systems
  • Knowledge of hotel management software and reservation systems preferred
  • Ability to handle night audit responsibilities with attention to detail in financial reconciliation
  • Previous hotel experience, especially in resort settings, is a plus
