Position Summary
The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for front-office operations in a high-volume orthopedic and spine practice. This role requires consistent professionalism, accuracy, and adherence to established procedures. We are seeking a professional, detail-oriented Front Desk Receptionist to join a busy orthopedic, spine surgery, and pain management practice. This role is the first point of contact for patients and plays a critical role in patient experience, clinic flow, and front-end accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients professionally in person and by phone
- Schedule and confirm appointments across multiple providers
- Verify insurance eligibility and obtain referrals/authorizations
- Maintain accurate patient demographics and EMR documentation
- Collect copays and outstanding balances per office policy
- Communicate clearly with patients, providers, and internal teams
- Maintain strict HIPAA compliance
- Accurate EMR(Advanced MD) documentation
- Copay collection and front-end financial compliance
- HIPAA-compliant handling of protected health information
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of medical office experience
- EMR proficiency(Advanced MD)
- Ability to perform duties with accuracy and consistency
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Spanish knowledge is a plus but not required

- Ability to accept supervision, feedback, and corrective action

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour

- Associate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Customer Service: 2 years (Preferred)
- Computer Skills: 2 years (Preferred)
