Front Of House - Supervisor

Position Overview:

We are looking for someone with solid Front of House experience, or an enthusiastic team member who is eager to take on more responsibility. This is a great opportunity for someone who’s passionate about hospitality and wants to grow their skills in a supportive, hands-on environment.

We’re aiming to open our doors mid-August

The position offers consistent evening shifts from 4pm to 10pm, Thursday to Sunday — ideal for someone who thrives in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to be part of an exciting new venue launch.

About Fioretti Pizza:

Fioretti is a family-run venue that’s all about great food and good vibes. The owners have spent over 20 years working in kitchens across Australia and London, and now we’re pouring that experience into our own place — a real passion project. We’re keeping things simple: really good pizzas, with a seasonal starter menu that evolves and keeps things interesting.

The Venue:

We’re just 5 minutes from Sutherland Train Station, with a bus stop right out the front, making it an easy commute.

We are located in the vibrant heart of Bangor. Fioretti Pizza is a welcoming neighbourhood destination.

Your Role Will Include:

  • Overseeing Front of House during service to ensure everything runs smoothly.
  • Supporting and encouraging the FOH team to deliver great guest experiences.
  • Handling customer questions, feedback, and any issues professionally.
  • Working closely with the kitchen team to keep service flowing.
  • Managing the cash register, POS, and closing tasks.
  • Keeping the venue clean, tidy, and welcoming.
  • Helping with staff training

Desired Experience and Skills:

  • Some previous Front of House experience in a restaurant or café.
  • Ready to step up or already have some supervisory experience.
  • Good people skills and able to keep the team motivated and positive.
  • Comfortable dealing with customers and resolving issues calmly.
  • Well-presented and detail-focused.
  • Able to multitask and stay calm during busy times.
  • Experience with POS and cash handling a plus.
  • Passionate about food and great hospitality.

As a new business, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship, however, we are open to exploring this possibility as the business grows.

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $25.00 – $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 24 per week

Schedule:

  • Evening shift
  • Every weekend
