Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Front of House Team Member to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming environment for all guests. You will be responsible for various tasks including food preparation, cashiering, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area. Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
• Take orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant guidelines.
• Handle cash transactions efficiently while ensuring accurate cash handling practices.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in both front-of-house and kitchen areas.
• Assist with bussing tables and ensuring a tidy dining environment.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely order preparation and delivery.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and sanitation practices.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or a quick service & fast food restaurant is preferred.
• Familiarity with Aloha POS or Micros POS systems is a plus.
• Strong culinary experience and knowledge of food handling practices.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Proven sales skills with an emphasis on upselling menu items.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to communicate effectively with guests.
• Experience in a café or grocery store setting is advantageous.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
