Front Of House Team Member - Part Time

We are looking for an experienced Front of House staff member for Vada, a Michelin guide restaurant in Stoneybatter. We are open Thursday - Sunday, The role would be approx 20 hours per week.

This position is for those that are passionate about the hospitality industry.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, sophisticated welcome to all guests; manage seating efficiently to ensure a seamless transition into the dining experience.
• Possess a foundational understanding of our seasonal menu and daily specials to assist guests with food and drink choices.
• Deliver orders with precision and poise, maintaining an unobtrusive presence while remaining highly attentive to guest needs.
• Uphold impeccable table standards throughout the service, ensuring every guest interaction reflects our Michelin-guide aspirations.
• Utilise the Square POS system for accurate order entry and payment processing [Note: Training on Square and OpenTable will be overseen by the Assistant Manager].
• Diligently execute the restaurant's zero-waste protocols, from sorting recyclables to minimising water and paper usage during service.
• Maintain clear, proactive communication with the Kitchen and FOH Supervisor and managers to ensure timing and dietary requirements are handled perfectly.

Requirements

• Ability to build relationships with colleagues and customers and ensure mutual satisfaction
• Working knowledge of cash register and any ordering information system (Training provided)
• Outstanding people skills
• Patient and friendly with demonstrated experience in problem solving
• Food safety training a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.50 per hour
