Ailes Consulting partners with major financial institutions to deliver expert IT and business solutions to their Global Markets teams. We are seeking a Front Office / Middle Office IT Business Analyst with strong knowledge of financial markets tools and workflows to support and enhance key trading, booking, and risk management applications.

You will be working closely with traders, sales, and support teams across asset classes, acting as the bridge between the business and IT. Your focus will be on application support, onboarding new financial products, and ensuring smooth trade workflows from front to middle office.

Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 & 2 functional support to Front Office and Middle Office users worldwide (New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong).
• Manage incident resolution, from logging and investigation to coordination with development teams.
• Work closely with traders to gather business requirements for new functionalities, product onboarding, and workflow improvements.
• Conduct functional testing (non-regression, UAT) for new features and integrations.
• Ensure seamless integration of new financial products into the full trade lifecycle (pricing, booking, settlement).
• Write and maintain user guides and training materials for FO/MO teams.
• Coordinate with software vendors and IT development teams on system enhancements and bug fixes.
• Monitor and optimize price contribution, execution spreads, algo trading features, and other FO tools.

Profile & Skills Required

Must-have:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Business Analysis or Front Office/Middle Office application support in a financial markets environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial products: Interest Rate Derivatives (IRS, OIS, Inflation Swaps), Bonds, Repo, FX Spot & Swaps, Futures, Swaptions.
• Experience with trading and booking platforms (Bloomberg, Tradeweb, MarketAxess, ION, Orchestrade, Summit, Murex, or similar).
• Proven track record in incident management, product onboarding, and trade workflow optimization.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills (Front Office, Middle Office, IT).
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced trading environments.

Nice-to-have:

• SQL knowledge for data extraction and analysis.
• Familiarity with electronic trading platforms and algo trading systems.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements (MiFID, EMIR, Dodd-Frank).
• Agile/Scrum experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $120,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
