Role Purpose:
A welcoming leader to supervise our Front Office team with a focus on driving communications to support day to day operations and willingness to go above and beyond to delight the guest journey.
Responsibilities:
Maintaining and keeping the front desk and lobby areas tidy and presentable
Organizes, directs, and monitors daily activities and shift for curators
Ensures efficient, friendly, and professional guest registration, check-out, balancing of each shift cashiering of curators and telephone service; able to assist and supervise curators and communication department to ensure that established procedures are followed
Assist curators and take ownership into resolving guest problems/complaints
Reviews daily expected arrivals and departures; special request reservations to ensure that they blocked properly, and other departments are notified of room assignments
Ensures all daily shift checklist are completed daily and curators’ task are supervised
Performs curators’ responsibilities such as checking guest into hotel, responding to guest questions, answering telephone, making guest reservations, and checking guests out of hotel.
Has a solid understanding of the hotel’s fire evacuation, hazard identification, accident recording and emergency policies and procedures
Skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar position preferred, but not essential
- Leadership
- Professional communication skills preferred
- Experience Using Opera PMS
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel
- Availability to work a 7-day overnight roster, including weekends and public holidays
