Front Office Supervisor

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome our guests to the hotel and act as a first point of contact.
  • Answer any queries the guest may have on in house facilities and tourist information.
  • Update all guest information and ensure all documentation is completed, managed and maintained accurately and efficiently.
  • Take and confirm reservations for our guests.
  • Manage the reception area for the business and handle a high volume of calls and emails.
  • Liaise with colleagues, management and external stakeholders as required.
  • Supporting Front Office Manager to ensure that all Front Office team members are trained in customer service.

About The Role

Requirements:

  • Excellent customer care and communication skills.
  • Experience in a similar role is an advantage.
  • Highly organised with excellent attention-to-detail.
  • Ensure that all guests receive a genuine, warm, friendly, and courteous welcome upon their arrival and throughout their stay from all department personnel.
  • Assist in achieving goals related to customer comment indexes, quality evaluations, and hotel standards.
  • Help in efficiently and effectively managing front office departmental operations.
  • Be thoroughly familiar with all company selling procedures and promotions
  • The role will operate 5 days over 7 on a shift basis and include weekends

Experience:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to others.
  • A warm, friendly, and approachable personality when interacting with both staff and guests.
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
