We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper / Office Administrator to manage the financial and administrative operations of our company, handling tasks from full-cycle bookkeeping (accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll) and financial reporting to overseeing general office management, vendor relations, and some HR functions. This dual role requires strong accounting skills, proficiency with financial software like QuickBooks Desktop, and excellent organizational and interpersonal skills to ensure efficient daily operations and accurate financial records. Your Responsibilities:
Live our Core Values
Manage all aspects of the general ledger, accounts payable (AP), and accounts receivable (AR) for winery operations, restaurant, and associated companies
Direct oversight into cash handling, cash deposits, daily cash audits, and change orders.
Balance restaurant POS daily.
Purchasing and accounts payable for the restaurant, winery operation and associated companies, including invoice review, invoice processing and monthly vendor statement reconciliations.
Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, balance sheets, and other reports.
Handle journal entries and ensure accurate financial data.
Partner with the Culinary team and Wine Production team to maintain accurate inventory records and support in the inventory counting requirements.
Resolve guest billing requests and any banking support needs (i.e. chargebacks).
Audit payroll time sheets, process and administer payroll and related tax filings.
Cash Flow Forecasting and Budget Forecasting
Assist with tax return preparation.
Manage and file Sales Tax Returns
Office Management:
Mentor and oversee our supporting bookkeeper.
Manage record-keeping, archives, and document preparation.
Handle vendor and supplier relationships, including purchasing products and services.
Oversee the daily activities of the office for efficient operation.
Other duties as assigned.

Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage multiple projects, workload and business partners in a fast-paced environment with minimum supervision.
Ability to meet deadlines and adapt to change.
Must possess a high level of maturity, integrity, and discretion surrounding all confidential documents and information.
3+ years professional experience; Finance or Accounting.
Computer proficiency in Excel, timekeeping, point-of-sale, and inventory systems.
Experience in service and hospitality.
Knowledge of Margin Edge: Restaurant Management Software a plus.
Must have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, operations, and financial reporting deadlines as needed.
